All hell is breaking loose in Egypt and all President Obama is interested in doing is riding his bicycle and playing golf, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin told me.
“It’s sad for America,” Palin said, calling the president’s handling of the crisis dithering. “Literally all hell seems to be breaking loose and President Obama is in Martha’s Vineyard having a gay old time, riding his bike, partying it up.”
Palin said it’s time for the president to pull all funding from Egypt until the violence stops.
“Until there is a crackdown on this atrocious violence, they should not be receiving aid or weaponry,” she said. “We are contributing to the deadly chaos that is going to lead to even more hell breaking loose.”
Palin said Obama’s handling of the crisis in Egypt has been appalling and she said it’s beyond time for him to exert authority and leadership. “It’s sad for our allies and sad for anyone who believes that America can still exert some positive influence for good in this world without unnecessary intervention,” she said. “We can use a less than dithering message from our less than dithering president.”

I think the world of Sarah... but, as with some others here, say she at best, she has misstated a bit of the situation, and tied aid to the “current violence”. Egypt has had a MB underground for a hundred years, fomenting behind the scenes. They get into complete power, and make a mess of things. THe military needs the time, willpower, and support (US Conservatives will have to do for now from this side of the Atlantic), to put the MB pandora back in the box. What Egypt is going thru with MB, we’ve been somewhat undergoing the same with the marxist/communists. They’ve been around, POTUS Wilson and before, with a few flareups like FDR and LBJ, and now we swung open the box completely in 2008. We’ve got some big work to do, and success is far from guaranteed, to re-stuff and close our Pandora...
Concerning her use of the word “gay”, I believe Gov. Palin is telling Obama, “I know. Now you know that I know.”
She’s going to have to run on a 3d party ticket though because the media and the liberal fascists are going to do everything they possibly can to destroy her and make her look like a fool and Republicans aren’t going to do squat about it just like screwed over Herman Caine and everyone else so their champion RINO Mitt could be the nominee. What she needs is a party that will stand behind her. I really like the idea of “Freedom party”.

I’m not sure I know exactly how much of the aid goes where. I know that aome fraction (1/3 maybe?) goes to the Egyptian military but I don’t know if or how much Obama is giving the MB under the guise of something else.
The military appears to be representing the people - but to make sure the wrong guys aren’t rewarded, I agree, aid should be cut off.
Presumably the military are armed (by us probably) and the MB not so well. If that is the case, let the military take care of the MB. They have promised to rebuilt the Coptic churches, and if they are telling the truth, that is a definite plus.
Also, the ones who wouldn’t take Obama’s phone calls should be rewarded in some way. I bet little Barry was PO’d.

The most interesting thing I find is Putin's moves in this mess, Putin is picking the right side and Barry is out to lunch again strategically again.
If there is a hardware vacuum for the Egyptian military, Putin will gladly fill it.

Actually I wasnt quite clear. I dont think it SHOULD be restored. The Saudis and Russia quickly relieved us of that burden so let them continue.
Egypt is lost. Obama screwed them twice and that will never be bought back regardless of how much we give them to use against us.
IMO Israel is the one and only country we should fund or arm (HEAVILY). Yes WW2, I know. But since then they have been the scapegoat muzzies and the rest use to attack us by proxy. I believe we owe them for that. We held them back do many times it’s the least we can do.
As for the rest of the ME, Abandon it, drill here, Done. Let Europe deal with it and it it comes home to get us, then destroy it utterly.
