Each hand is unique. I had a trade in which I saw many, many hands - not palmistry
I won't argue that...One's hands can tell a little bit about a person, like their work, their health and to an extent, their mental state(nail chewing etc.).
But Palmistry rates right up there with Aura Readings, Astrology and Phrenology

Yes. Your brain will process out the image distortion, unlike a camera it compensates for distance. Take a picture and see.

I’m giving her a break on this...she just had her whole life ripped away from her; and the ‘trusted family friend’ (yeah, right...) turns out to be a (likely)child molester...it’s not normal to you; but kids live their *entire* lives on social media these days...your idea of privacy and theirs are *not* the same.
She’s trying to tell her ‘friends’ that she’s ‘OK’; even though she can’t tell them what happened in words right now.

YMMV. If you read more deeply about it, from authentic sources, you might change your mind.
Or not, depending on pre/misconceptions.

I think the story sounds a bit fishy but the police or friends and family could have given her details that she didn't know about when kidnapped. On the other had, if only the police know they were “burned on (Think she meant in) the garage", she's in trouble. They're letting her post away and incriminate herself if that's the case. I also wonder why she was uncomfortable seeing her dad. She doesn't say he's a bad guy. If he were my only immediate family member left I would run to him...
To: dalereed
There’s also the possibility that she (thought) she was in love with the guy, wanted to run away with him, but still had nothing to do with the murders.
She won’t say that now because it looks very incriminating, and he killed her family.

Remember Elizabeth Smart? While in captivity she would walk on the public street and into stores with her abductor yet not say a word to anyone. I imagine they are terrorized into staying silent.

Divine Providence please let this child's 15 minutes pass quickly.
She appears so vacuous she needs a crash cage on a kitchen chair.

Wow. Can’t believe some of the comments at the link and a few here.
Let me explain this using little words so maybe it will get through some people’s clearly thick skulls.
Her mom is dead. Her brother is dead. The perp was her dad’s best friend. She clearly does not have a good relationship with her dad. She was likely raped repeatedly and probably has a hard time with any adult men (says the last part). So she is reaching out in one of the only ways left to her. And flailing. Getting nails done as a brief release.
This is someone alone and in great pain.
But go ahead and call her a publicity hound if it makes you feel good.
Just wow.

It’s called a French Manicure and it is all the rage. Personally, I don’t like it and wear the simple rounded contour shape.

I agree wholeheartedly with both of you.
The article also said her grandmother took her to get her nails done. I think it’s likely she was trying to get this girl back to a “normal” life as soon as possible in the hopes she has something to do besides sit at home and replay the last week in her mind repeatedly.

Since he’s dead, I doubt she could say anything that would create a technicality for God to set him free.

... I'll bet she felt dirty thru and thru.... and we're complaining that she got her nails done?...... Thank you.
And THE PRESS picks which pictures of her to print, and THEY chose the "coquettish" ones; doesn't mean that 90+% of the rest aren't ordinary. After Trayvon, I'd expect FReepers to be aware of stuff like that, rather than vilifying her for them.
Then there are the really sick minds posting insinuations about her being behind it.

Interesting but does it matter which palm you are looking at, right hand vs. left?
To: vette6387
Social media accounts belonging to the 16-year-old California girl have been updated with multiple photographs and lengthy posts talking about the kidnapping, the six-day manhunt that ensued and how she feels guilty about her mother and brother's death.Guess I should have quoted the source. Language is strange how it conveys things not said.

But she has one nail done with colors in memory of her mother and brother. Sorry, but unless she has tattoos for them I remain unconvinced.
