Utah beauty queen arrested for throwing bombs from car

RIVERTON, UT – Beauty queens get a bad rap for being kind of dumb. But what the recently crowned Miss Riverton in Utah did can only be described as stupid.
Kendra Gills and three other teens are accused of throwing homemade bottle bombs from a car around Riverton.
“You get a little bit of a shrapnel or fragment effect from the container as well as the chemicals,” said Captain Clint Mecham with Unified Fire Department.
Nobody got hurt, except maybe Gills’ reputation.
“When you get right down to it, you are a good will ambassador, you are an ambassador for your city, you represent your city which means you represent everybody there,” said former Miss USA Gretchen Jensen.
Now Gills can “represent” from behind bars. If convicted, these kids are looking at jail time for their felony charges.
That crown probably doesn’t look so good with a jump suit.
