The Streisand Effect. No one would have ever heard of the book if he had not given it nationwide publicity by filing the lawsuit.

Former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura couldn't enumerate just how a Navy SEAL sniper's book defamed him, but he said he'd had a hard time finding work since the book came out. Blame the Obamaconomy.
I thought crossdressers were supposed to have an easier shot at getting hired these days.
To: TurboZamboni
"When asked how the book had damaged him, he said job offers dried up after its publication. "I never had to really go out seeking anything until very recently," he said. "Usually, it came to me. But within the last year, they ain't been coming."
Ya', well that happens to all has-beens, Ventura. You think going after Chris Kyle's widow will enhance your resume' and improve your prospects? Don't bother making application to outfits in Texas.

I KNOW you are a traitor jesse... you are suing the wife of a dead American hero and his children so that you can redeem some worthless vision that you have of yourself. I wish that Hulk had taken his pythons and squeezed the very life out of your sorry ass. I hope one day to read that a Navy Seal brings justice upon you.

i have lost all respect (well there has not been a lot since the 9/11 conspiracy nuttiness) for Ventura. he has now destroyed one of my fav fils and fav scenes with him ...predator...
how he can do this to the wife of a hero who was murdered is beyond me. i assume the seal community is a close knit one, i cant imagine they are happy either.
by co-incidence yesterday they had sons of guns with Chris Kyle. a more down to earth honest guy i dont think you could meet...it was sad to think of the loss....

As a former SEAL he gets some respect. But his recent actions, the truther %#$@! and this lawsuit in particular are making me lose all respect for him.

Punching Out Scruff Face "I heard Ventura say that we shouldn't be over in Iraq, doing what we were doing," he said. "And then he said that the SEALs deserved to lose some guys because of what we were doing.
"That's when Chris punched him. All of us wanted to. Chris was just the first one to pop him."

I don’t see where this case goes to trail. Apparently there are Navy Seals that were present that will testify to the incident. If it goes to trail, the best he will get is a win with $1 reward.

Traitor? Nah.
Ego-maniacal, narcissistic jackass, pretty much.
But then again, given his background and copious amounts of visual and audio evidence, truth would easily make an absolute defense.
