The United States told its citizens in Yemen on Tuesday to leave immediately and ordered the evacuation of non-essential U.S. government staff because of the threat of terrorist attacks.
The State Department announcement was the latest warning since Washington issued a worldwide travel alert on Friday that prompted the closure of several Western embassies in Yemen and U.S. missions across the Middle East and Africa.
Based on intelligence including intercepted communication between al Qaeda leaders, Washington has warned of possible attacks in the region.
Some officials pinpointed Yemen, home to Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), one of the most active affiliates of the network established by Osama bin Laden and where the United States uses drones to hunt militants.

I am not either unless there is some huge scam going on to test which lines are “safe” by al qada.
Meanwhile, this will probably be used to further ramp up surveillance because no one seems too concerned except the government i.e. no one is running around with their hair on fire calling out various enemy looking people. A truly worried population would be patrolling the streets armed to the teeth IMO looking for any sight of the miscreants. In fact the government would suspend all firearms laws so people could protect the country...oh wait, I am dreaming in Obamaland again.

I am with you, It looks like hype to me, but it is the new Obama foreign policy of the United States to show cowardice and run when threatened, instead of sending troops to protect the Embassy.
There are always threats. Are the embassies going to be closed indefinitely?
If nothing happens, Obama can take the credit for the covert and overt action. It’s akin to the “jobs saved” kudos - you can never prove it either way.
But if he keeps repeating this crap and nothing happens, people are going to get numb to it.

John Kerry is Secretary of State now, and he is used to running when scared, Susan Rice may have something to do with this, but there is no video to blame it on, Valerie Jarrett may have told them to move out, she is a born Iranian, we do know Obama was having a Birthday party at camp David and shooting skeet , I doubt he sent any orders.
