A French government agency responsible for maintaining the country’s secular values has recommended banning university students from wearing religious symbols such as crucifixes, Jewish skullcaps and Muslim headscarves.
In a report seen by French daily Le Monde on Monday, the High Council for Integration (HCI) said it was alarmed by “growing tensions in all sectors of university life” that were undermining the country’s secular values.

Islam is at war against civilization.
Civilization needs to recognize that it is not in a life and death struggle with Christianity or Judaism.
Only Islam.
The Muslim will retain their regalia, its the Christian and Hebrew gear that will have to go.
I would remind posters that a yarmulke is traditional but not required. A ball cap or a cowboy hat does just as well and remains within all points of Jewish law.
There is also no requirement that it be black. I had a friend who wore one that said Red Sox on it.

One, cynical might think the latter the real target; but even if not intended; they will become the bigger victims. The Muslims will not comply; while those 'reasonable' per Western MO's; will.
And if they do not; then Muslims have even greater 'reason' to defend; albeit; no comparison of those who faces and more; who when in public; are hidden; and pose a threat because of it.
