So true Iron Munro, and neither do elections. It is amazing how many citizens assume elections and/or polls have any relevance in regimes which routinely abduct, torture, and murder their citizens. Elections in Egypt, or Gaza, or Cuba, or Venezuela, or Iran, or... mean whatever the government wants them to mean and cannot be attributed to the citizens or subjects. Of course, our citizens have no idea what is really happening in those countries because our media have become Sharia compliant. They are guided by Islamic "Blasphemy" laws, called "islamophobia". If it is critical of Islam, it is blasphemy, and punishable up to and including death. That is why our Major Hassan is being tried for "Workplace violence". Our state department and military jurisprudence are already Sharia compliant.
We are amazingly naïve about “elections” held in dictatorships. The naivety here may be the result of protective instincts in our media, who find voting in our nation perfectly trustworthy, with 130 and 140 percent of the eligible populations voting in many precincts as long as it is the right person getting those imaginary votes. Our IRS has been attacking citizen groups like "truethevote.org" for years. Elections in Egypt are agitprop. They are an illusion created for the Western press. McCain is an expert on elections, having been part of perhaps the most elaborate subversion of our Constitution leading to the 2008 elections - but that is another thread.
The clearest exposition of the ruse of Egyptian elections or polls I've heard came from an Egyptian woman, co-founder of a truly catholic ("of broad or liberal scope") political party that included Muslims, Jews, Christians, etc. Cynthia Farahat is easy to listen to because she is clear-spoken, brilliant, and stunning. She has a tongue like the similarly brilliant and stunning Ayan Hirsi Ali. Cynthia tells of standing in the middle of Tahrir Square, knowing that Muslim Brothhood savages were attacking and raping nonbelievers, but knew she was safe, always surrounded by muslim and Coptic Christians, who hate the Muslim Brotherhood. She is one of the first people with credibility I've heard explain that there are Muslims who reject the doctrine of Jihad, which is the core of the Quran.
One of her closest friends was murdered by the police. She was warned by the secret police that she was next, and left while she could, in 2011. She counters the US media's impressions about many things, including that Egypt is a country whose population chooses Sharia. She asserts that the Muslim Brotherhood is only prevailing now because of Obama, who is their partner, sending arms, money, and probably orders. The Muslim Brotherhood has around 800,000 members while there are more like 18 million Coptic Christians (Coptic means Egyptian).
I heard Cynthia first as she corrected a well-meaning, but sometimes tedious anti-terrorist political activist group, that offers a daily panel anti from Boca Raton, Tom Trento’s "Trentovision". If only they would listen more and control their gabfests a bit they would garner more respect for their valid cause. Cynthia corrected their mistaken assertions again and again. It is a Youtube talk so you can skip to where all you see is a beautiful woman - that should be easy! It is fortunate that she is here while we still honor the 1st Amendment.

The point is that elections are even more a farce in Egypt than they are in the US, where our president was a trainer for Acorn, as was his soul-mate Bill Ayers, whose brother helped organize Marxist indoctrination in education in Venezuela, while Bill focused on indoctrination in the US. The Muslim Brotherhood permeates our government, from Obama, to Hillary and her Huma, who was hired directly from a Muslim Brotherhood front, to Wahhabi Convert John Brennan at CIA, to Bush's Muslim Spiritual Advisor who is now in a Colorado Prison, to Republican Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC) executive Suhail Khan, whose father founded Islamic Society of North America, dedicated to overthrowing our government and replacing it with Sharia Law, which is Islam, and Suhail’s sponsor, Grover Norquist, great friend of Graham and McCain, and favorite lobbyist for the Republican rich and famous. Could it be all that oil money being directed to their crony friends, who know where the feeding trough is?
The honesty of the Muslim Brotherhood is disconcerting, given the remarkably almost complete fabric of lies being fed the US public. Alwaleed bin-Talal, who, according to the black lawyer of impeccable integrity, defender of Malcolm X, Louis Farrakhan, Charles Rangel, Muslim Brotherhood, and President of the Manhattan Borough of NY, Percy Sutton, one of the first black pilots in the Army Air Corp, was Obama's patron. The media ignored it. When Alwaleed donated twenty million dollars to Harvard just before Obama was admitted, and then founded the largest branch of Harvard Divinity School, the "Alwaleed bin-Talal Center for Islamic Study", now at Georgetown, Cambridge, and half a dozen other universities, it wasn't relevant. Is it any wonder that our Universities are silent? Look at the grants to most of our large Universities from the Saudi Family. Alwaleed attended little Menlo College, South of San Francisco, and Mursi is a USC graduate, USC a beneficiary of millions dollars extracted from the pockets of Americans for gasoline and oil.
When Alwaleed, with honesty and candor explains that "fracking is an existential threat to the survival of Saudi Arabia", no media make the connection with Obama, or Keystone X, or Obama's EPA and Soros' funded environmental groups. The role Obama is fulfilling, and for which there is considerable evidence and for which his education was sponsored, is in the bylaws of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Barack told us all he is a naturalized citizen, "I am a native-born citizen of the US", which is legalese for a 14th Amendment Naturalized Citizen, the media diverted everyone from the Constitution, and Obama's team invented a Kenyan birth certificate - Hillary's Pennsylvania associate campaign director Philip Berg initiating the diversion. We need more immigrants who know the reality behind the truth being hidden by our quislings, quislings like Graham and McCain and so many others. while we still retain public respect for the 1st Amendment. As Cynthia pointed out, the majority who hate the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt were disarmed long ago, with Nasser and our darling, Sadat, who, speaking in Arabic, was a through and through Jihadi-committed member of the Muslim Brotherhood. Mubarak was always a Muslim Brother, like Erdogan, and Huma Abedin, and John Brennan, and, by his actions, Barack Obama. And yes, Barack's grandmother, half brother, father, cousin Odinga, who shared the Prime Minster's position with help from Senator Obama, in Kenya, are all committed Muslim Brothers.
Whether we call Barack a Muslim or not, Muslims assume he is, and say so, as Muammar Gadhafi did in 2009. Obama has power because we ignored our Constitution. We still have 1st Amendment rights because he has not succeeded in removing the 2nd Amendment. We see from Cynthia the reality of the helplessness of a people disarmed. The blasphemy laws are in our courts, though more so in Canada (ask Mark Steyn) and Europe. McCain and Graham, along with many other's in congress and our judiciary are traitors. Whether their behavior amounts to treason, the only word defined in the Constitution, because our framers assumed it might be needed, remains to be answered. like natural born citizenship and because our framers needed to limit the scope of a charge of 'treason'. There was never any disagreement with the interpretation of the common-law term, natural born citizen, defined as it was in our first law book, in 1779, Vattel's Law of Nations.
