I can give you the ansel12 wisdom on this. Libertarians are “commandos of the Left”. They lure conservatives away from limited government because they are really liberals promoting a leftwing agenda by stealth. Mitt Romney and John McCain are examples of libertarians who do this. It increases liberal voters.
