You better fact check your history. Leftists have used social conservatives to further lefty agendas since the days of Teddy Roosevelt. It's blatantly obvious yet you still can't see how the GOPe and the democrats are using you. You want big government for the causes you are so passionate about well, you're going to get big government alright.

I wish you could understand that none of this has to do with gays, abortions, etc. It has everything to do with following a 200 year old document. I'm all for following the original intent of the Constitution. Why do you want to take the progressive route and bend it towards your pet causes?
