Currently, the Treasury department is using emergency measures to avoid going over the $16,699,396,000,000 debt limit approved by congress. The situation is so desperate, that the debt level has been sitting $25 million below that level for a full 70 days. Meanwhile, President Barack Hussein Obama criticized Republicans during his speech in Chattanooga, Tennessee, because they have cautioned against increasing Federal spending...

The very reason we have a budget crisis looming is the fact that the Government spends far more money then it takes in or could ever pay off. The Government is broke and he wants to spend more money? From where? Asshat!

Amazon is likely hiring enough employees to cut everyone’s hours to avoid Obamacare. He should be careful what signs he uses to show the economy is better.

I don’t think the debt level was exceeded.
Believe it or don’t, but the Treasurer has been living with in his means. He has raised cash from non borrowing internal sources to carry on.
I heard a report, on Cavuto I think, where Fanniemae repaid a large debt to the Treasury that helped his effort to raise cash.
He is forced to do what all of us in small business do, scrounge cash to meet the payroll

Yes the Treasury raised cash from internal sources- they have been “borrowing from “ (spending down) the federal worker TSP (contributory) retirement savings fund to run the govt for the past 60 days
This gave them about $200 Billion to spend- however, that is borrowed money, not tax or other revenue, and must be paid back with interest.
In the past the US treasury raided TSP several times - and paid it back - only when Congress raised the debt ceiling.
So they are living on borrowed money from an internal source. Money that must be paid back with interest. Borrowing money that was not figured into the debt ceiling
Is Congress really digging in this time? Obamites already calculate to shut down the govt if not and I guess our retirement savings are kaput. Maybe they give us back “bonds” instead and we become the prototype for federal govt raids on other 401K accounts!
BTW- I highly suspect that the govt was spared by an infusion of cash from a big Fannie Mae payback and highly suspect just another accounting “sleight of hand” to move money from one set of books to another
Congress of course is too busy with other priorities like vacation, and how many counterfeit passports illegal aliens are allowed to have
I won’t deny what you have posted. I’m reminded though of me...... scrounging at times for cash for payroll .
The sleight of hand means the government has been scrounging for cash. The thought they must scrounge rather than just ask the bank to increase the line is somehow comforting

the “bank” is the US Congress and the “bank” has tied approving further debt ceiling increases to reductions in govt spending
obama has already announced he plans NO spending cuts, he plans to negotiate NOTHING, and he is OK with a govt shutdown on 1 October if Congress doesn’t give him his way
oh and Harry Reid has announced the democrats will seek an additional $1 TRILLION tax hike

Obama is a great negotiator, isn’t he? (Heavy, dripping sarcasm alert!)
First, he proposes some “grand bargain” that raises taxes and spending but then turn right around in the next breath and denigrates and impugns the name of his negotiating opponents, like that’s supposed to sweeten them up to compromise with him.
This guy is a terrible leader, chief executive and just about everything else his job entails. He’s a real loser. Next time, let’s remind ourselves not to elect a community freakin’ organizer, okay?

The budget crisis is that they never bothered to write one up and would not follow it if they did. They are all crack addicts, addicted to OPM, Other Peoples Money.
