I try to explain to people that government workers don’t contribute to the tax base (the private sector pays all the government’s bills)and they don’t add to the economy (they can only spend money that would have been spent by the private sector). Only after careful explanation does the light bulb go on. Unfortunately Obama’s burned out a long time ago.

NOBODY is this stupid. Not even the African communist simpleton Ubama believes government workers, who of course get paid with tax dollars, return a greater amount back to the government in tax dollars than the amount of tax dollars government paid them in the first place. It's a basic mathematic reality that any suburban 1st grader would quickly understand.
Therefore, the only other possible conclusion must be that that punk Ubama is once again lying through his teeth.

According to Obama’s theory, the two “unfunded” Bush wars would actually help the economy. The money to pay for wars isn’t flushed down the toilet, It is used to pay government contractors, soldiers, etc. Thus, by this logic it is Obama who is hurting the economy by downsizing the military.
Obama is an economic illiterate, but so are most Americans.
He can’t pay the 650,000 DoD civilians he has now.
Pelosi thinks we need more people on unemployment and welfare because they will spend the money.
Unfortunately this is not satire. Obama is the smartest man in all 58 states. He is surrounded by people just as smart. His Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack claimed, “when you talk about the SNAP program or the food stamp program, you have to recognize that it’s also an economic stimulus. Every dollar of SNAP benefits generates $1.84 in the economy in terms of economic activity.” Nancy Pelosi asserted that unemployment benefits generate jobs more quickly than almost any other program, because they “inject demand into the economy.” Why has it not occurred to them to put us all on food stamps and give us government jobs? By this theory the economy would skyrocket. Don’t worry about the private sector paying for this. Just write rubber checks. There is plenty of money in “Obama’s Stash.” Pick up yo Obama phone and call yo representative.
