Yemen at one time was ruled by a Jewish King: Yūsuf As'ar Yath'ar. His predecessors were most likely a variant of Judaic as well, followers of Rahmanism (Rahman was a term for "Merciful God" brought by Jewish or Samaritan settlers in South Arabia)
Yath'ar led a massacre of Christians -- purportedly 20,000 in his kingdom and reached out to the pagan Arab Al-Mundhir to join him in bringing the Arabs to Judaism (or at least his variant of Judaism) and eliminating the Christians.
