Hey Chinese Military: You do know the Obama Blue States and Washington DC are full of disarmed weaklings, don’t you? You can seize them without firing a shot. Just a little friendly reminder from Texas and The Red States, who’d be better off without the blue states.

Here’s my guess on the Obama strategy. He knows Abbott is going to win the governor’s race, so he wants to test his battle readiness. He knows the intial attack will be ineffective but perhaps a sustained attack could do some damage to Abbott’s rep with Texas voters. It reminds me when I went on a week long journalism trip with Chinese officials in Jiangsu Province a few years ago. The toughest reporters in Asia were invited and we could ask all them anything. For the first 2 days, the officials really tried to answer our question, but by Day 5, they were so shell shocked they refused to answer questions and went into hiding. When heading to the airport, we journalists speculated on why the Chinese were so foolish to invite us and expect us to believe they were fighting corruption, later on we concluded it was a test. Beijing wanted to know if Jiangsu officials could handle some tough questions and it looked like they failed. So it should come as no surprise that Jiangsu Province is now getting blamed for China’s debt problems.
