Truman was not hot-headed. Although he did threaten to kick a reporter who didn’t like his daughters piano playing in the balls. Truman was brilliant and down to earth, and left the White House as poor as when he went in it. Tell me another democrat who did that. He was certainly the opposite of Obama, because the buck did stop with him. He never tried to blame anyone else he took responsibility.

IMO DEMocrat or not Harry Truman was one of the greatest Presidents. There would be no Israel without Truman.
He made mistakes, everyone does, but he never blamed them on someone else.
