Cop-out. Braun and the Brewers’ seasons were already over. Now, he’s just not going to get paid for it and both get to start over again in 2014.Braun's contract next year is for $1.5MM more than this year. By taking the suspension now instead of next year he saves ~$602,000. What a guy!
