“John McCaffery, TSA, said, “No, those vehicles that are in the garage, short term long term parking, even if they carry pretty large amounts of explosives, they would not cause damage to the front of the airport. But for those who use the valet, the car could be there for a half hour or an hour so there is a vulnerability.”

There it is. We have gone from a system where they need probable cause to violate your right to privacy to a system where they can search because it is POSSIBLE that you might cause some damage. That covers just about EVERYTHING.

Using that logic, as I live under the approach to Dulles, I suppose it's just a matter of time before my house is searched regularly for surface-to-air missiles due to the "vulnerability".

If she has nothing to hide, she should not object to the search.

New threats demand new measures.

You’re either with the TSA or else you’re with the terrorists.

Flying is a voluntary act. If she chooses to go to the airport, she has already consented to their security rules — which are for her own protection.

Since she objected to the search she is opposed to anti-terror precautions. Probably best to put her name on a no-fly list. Also her family.

Why not search her home too — just to be safe?

Also, if the life of just one puppy could be saved...
