Jesse Jackson and the NAACP want to stir up unrest just to advance their agenda, regardless whether the case has merit.
They should be ashamed of themselves, which, of course is too much to ask.

"Zimmerman could still be held responsible for Martin's death" That's too bad. Martin is responsible for Martin's death.

CNN still at it.
Another show trial where we’ll see it was self defense.
Zimmerman’s ‘parents’ (he was actually raised by a step mother) already pocketed a million. What can they get from George Zimmerman?

Can a private citizen violate another private citizen’s civil rights? That seems like something only the government could do.

It is my understanding that under Florida law when self-defense is claimed and the defendant is found not guilty, civil claims are not allowed.
Federal Court is the ONLY way a civil action can be filed. In a civil action, the phone calls, texts and pictures will come in.
No way he will be found liable when the phone and background info come in.

Florida Statutes (Fla. Stat.)
Title XLVI. Crimes.
Chapter 776: JUSTIFIABLE USE OF FORCE
776.032 Immunity from criminal prosecution and civil action for justifiable use of force.
(1) A person who uses force as permitted in s. 776.012, s. 776.013, or s. 776.031 is justified in using such force and is immune from criminal prosecution and civil action for the use of such force, unless the person against whom force was used is a law enforcement officer, as defined in s. 943.10(14), who was acting in the performance of his or her official duties and the officer identified himself or herself in accordance with any applicable law or the person using force knew or reasonably should have known that the person was a law enforcement officer. As used in this subsection, the term criminal prosecution includes arresting, detaining in custody, and charging or prosecuting the defendant.
(2) A law enforcement agency may use standard procedures for investigating the use of force as described in subsection (1), but the agency may not arrest the person for using force unless it determines that there is probable cause that the force that was used was unlawful.
(3) The court shall award reasonable attorneys fees, court costs, compensation for loss of income, and all expenses incurred by the defendant in defense of any civil action brought by a plaintiff if the court finds that the defendant is immune from prosecution as provided in subsection (1).

Of course to get to federal court, they need a nexus to a constitutional issue which is not present.
Zimmerman is free of any legal burder the scheme team may bring. In fact, MOM last night said I look forward to defending him in civil actions where he is immune.

I’m of the opinion that 0bama, even though he’d like to..won’t touch this with a 10-foot pole.
And Zimmerman should file suit against the networks that doctored the broadcasts of the 911 call and the railroading they did upon his person, including the NBP death threats and other acts to incite violence.

If they bring a civil suit, I hope someone will investigate Trayvon Martin’s background — where did all the jewelry come from?

“Kruidbos said more than 2,000 photos from the phone were not shown to defense attorneys, including pictures of underage naked girls, images showing piles of jewelry on Martin’s bed and photos of Martin blowing smoke.”

If I were Zimmerman, I would leave — go somewhere where he would be impossible to find. Alaska maybe?
To: Innovative
"Two options, however, are available: A civil suit, or a civil rights suit." In cases of self-defense under Florida law he can go to court and be granted immunity from civil suits.
The civil rights suit idea is absurd and just grasping at straws. Besides, the FBI already investigated and cleared him (http://www.csmonitor.com/USA/Justice/2012/0712/FBI-report-No-evidence-George-Zimmerman-is-racist). The DOJ would have a hell of a time arguing a suit against their own FBI.

Well, thanks to the bogus trial, George has no money for you. Right now GZ is flat broke.
But, there is huge potential for income. Lawsuits against most of the media, lawsuits against the State of Florida, Book & Movie rights to his story.
Somehow, I think the BGI will not try, because the contents of the cell phone will come into evidence in any civil suit and they may well end up paying George.
