NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -
A China-based airline company is receiving the keys to a brand new Boeing 787 Dreamliner Friday morning.
Hainan Airlines will officially take its first 787 Dreamliner during a ceremony at the Boeing Delivery Center in North Charleston. The aircraft was built at Boeing in North Charleston.
This is Boeing’s ninth 787 Dreamliner delivery. The first was taken by Air India.
Boeing is now making two Dreamliners per month at their North Charleston facility, with plans to make three per month by the end of they year.
Hainan Airlines is the 13th Airline to receive a Dreamliner.
