USA Today reports from Cairo at least 10 killed, hundreds wounded in Egypt today on the Muslim Brotherhood's (Ikwhan) "Day of Rejection" of the Egyptian military's removal of President Morsi from office this week after a popular uprising.

(Reuters) - Egyptian security forces killed at least 30 people on Wednesday when they moved in to clear a camp of Cairo protesters demanding the reinstatement of deposed President Mohamed Mursi, his Muslim Brotherhood movement said.
There was no official confirmation of the death toll at Rabaa al-Adawiya, in northeast Cairo, where thousands of Mursi supporters have staged a six-week sit-in that caused the army acute embarrassment since it ousted the elected leader.
A second camp near Cairo University was swiftly cleared in the early morning.
The operation, which suggested that the powerful military had lost patience with persistent protests that were crippling parts of the capital and slowing the political process, began just after dawn with helicopters hovering over the camps.
Gunfire rang out as protesters, among them women and children, fled Rabaa, and clouds of black smoke rose into the air. Armored vehicles moved in beside bulldozers which began clearing tents. One witness saw 15 bodies at a field hospital.

Troops opened fire on Islamist demonstrators in clashes that brought chaos to the capital and other cities and looked certain to further polarize Egypt’s 84 million people between those who backed Mursi and the millions who opposed his brief rule.
In the streets around the Rabaa al-Adawiya mosque in northeast Cairo, where thousands of Mursi supporters have staged a sit-in for the last six weeks, riot police wearing gas masks crouched behind armored vehicles, tear gas hung in the air and burning tires sent plumes of black smoke into the sky.
Several television stations ran footage of what appeared to be pro-Mursi protesters firing automatic rifles at soldiers from behind sandbag barricades.

BREAKING ....Unconfirmed Reports that VP Mohammed El Baradei has resigned after army’s handling of sit-ins. ( I should post the photo of him hanging out sitting with the MBS in the Rabba camp)
Mel, initially the crowds walked out pretty peacefully...we saw smoke and fire and heard the bulldozers at rabba...for quite awhile before you heard gun shots...and those were the snipers hired by MBS no doubt. Mesta even commented how it seemed so much like “just another day”...there wasn’t this mad rush the MBS are “telling”.
Now anybody would run once fires broke...and the mbs did just as they did at the bridge this morning...lit some tires......and where all the black smoke came from inititally....sheesh they love to dramatize everything!
We also know they had hidden bodies in the camp...who is to know if the ones burnt weren’t those they had stashed underground etc. for affect?
Also the children and those bleeding were hit when the teargas cannisters were dropped from helicopters and from roof tops.
The escalation happened ‘AFTER’ the people were cleared from the camps and the police were going thru the tents and. diehards who were looking to fight stationed themselves.
Interesting is the same use of ‘Old photos” were first put up by MBS of children..dead bodies etc...too quick...then later you saw regular bodies lined up as the standard...and their sniper headed wounds for effect.
Most of these injuries at Rabba etc. were after the camp was cleared out.
BTW Mesta was watching/working with me most of the night on here....then Maggief came on board and so glad too.

Hello there...yep ...it started late last night (our time) but earlyier there in Egypt (daylight).....
They’ll now have to handle all the outbreaks etc....and gathering up the thugs....
It was not the horror the Mbs were saying when this first started....remember the MBS want this to look like the military fault for all these deaths...the MBS had their snipers blowing out peoples heads etc to achieve the drama they want....the military was NOT involved at the encampments at all...except driving the military bulldozer...the police handled the encampments....so they cannot blame the military.
