As of a few months ago, Song of the South was available on youtube. Told my kid (12) that a lot of people consider it to be racist, then we watched it together. She’s still puzzled that anyone could think that movie racist!
It’s the same mindset that make Uncle Tom into a figure of scorn and derision.
