I have no argument that this country is going down the drain, but Zimmerman will at worst will get a hung Jury. The State will not retry the case. Zimmerman will probably be killed at some point short of leaving the State incognito. If he plays his cards right, maybe he lives and gets away with a little extra cash via his CNN lawsuit, less his Civil suit losses.
It will depend on what the jurors decide. I hope a couple of people convinced that Zimmerman is guilty didn’t manage to elude O’Mara’s vigilance, and try to wear down the others into a “compromise” of a manslaughter verdict.
I hope you are right, but I am convinced he will be found guilty, if not on the original charges, they will come in with Manslaughter.
That is 30 years plus another 30 years because of the firearm.
If he goes to prison, he will not come out alive.
The feds (Holder and Obama) will surely come after him for violating Martin’s rights, the same way they came after the Rodney King officers.

The menendez jury will neve4r aquit because hte vidence is absolutely clear that hte boys murdered their mother and father in cold blood
Oh wait- the all female jury thought hte boys shouldn’t be convicted because they had ‘lost theirm other, and that was puinkishement enough” (or soemthign akin to htat)
NEVER underestimate the NONsense of a jury
Alas, someone need only persuade 6 people to say one word each: “guilty.”
And the highest authorities involved in this case (officially or not) are very good a getting the few people holding actual influence to say just the right word.
