The former governor of Alaska floated the idea of bolting from the Republican Party if it continues to, as she sees it, back away from the principals of Abraham Lincoln and Ronald Reagan.
Toying with the idea of starting a new political party? You betcha.
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin entertained building a "Freedom Party" while answering Twitter questions on Fox News Saturday.
One user asked, Would you & Mark Levin be willing to build a 'Freedom Party' if GOP continues to ignore conservatives?
"I love the name of that party the 'Freedom Party,'" Palin replied. "And if the GOP continues to back away from the planks in our platform, from the principles that built this party of Lincoln and Reagan, then yeah."(continued)

Go for it!
Why wait?
I’m ALL IN.
I’m down with something like that.
I’m almost there...
At least there would be an alternative to what more and more looks like Rino land.
Rubio has turned out to be a great disappointment.
Get petitions and file party in all 50 states, incl PR and WA DC.
IN!
Well how long exactly do they get? I'm counting 24 years so far.
I want to know the party platform first.
I like Sarah Palin, I like her fighting spirit, her willingness to speak straight and stand up to corruption. I just want to know the platform. Details.
IF?
It’s an idea whose time is long overdue.
Sarah’s got my vote.
When the entire slate of RINO’s goes down to defeat, then they’ll finally see the light.
COUNT ME IN!!! The GOP abandoned its principles a long time ago..many of them sound just like Dems when they talk and thats the worst of all..when you hear a Republican on TV who sounds like a carbon copy of a Dem you know the GOP is lost..only hope is if this Immigration bill is dead in the house, if it passes thats all folks
Absolute insanity. The only practical way for conservative to achieve real political power is via the Republican Party and seizing control of it the way the Left controls the Democrats. Remember the last time hordes of conservative deserted the Party and supported Perot. The result was the Clinton abomination. Notice Democrats have learned not to make that mistake again.
I’m way past the boiling point. I say.....hell yes! Maybe Cruze and Co will switch over and drop the RINOs. There is no changing them. They are a one-party system. No daylight between them and the Dems.
