Which, as I have surmised previously, is precisely what the prosecution WANTED to happen to further inflame the ‘us vs them’ racism- the prosecution knew they had a gold mine with her- because now the emotional pitting of ignorant people vs priviledged ‘white’ folks (meanign george zimmerman) will be fused into the midns of the jury
I think the prosecution deliberately allowed her to act liek an uneducated ass in order to stoke the fires of racism even further
I’m not critical of the way Jeantel speaks. I’m amazed that she can speak.
did anyone mention she was’proven to be a liar and therefore an unreliable witness? nobody made her lie but her. she even spoke the way she normally speaks, nobody can claim they made her saythings a certain way, or that her attitude wasn’t her normal attitude. she was acting and speaking like her true self, and she lied, was shown to be a liar, and shown to be an unreliable witness.
“otherness” in this case = illiteracy and ignorance

I don’t care how much respect liars and racists want. They don’t deserve any.
It isn’t what she says but how she says it. Total disrespect shown in court and not a word from the judge, that’s what pisses me off.
In the current culture, we are supposed , mock, for example, the Honey Boo Boo family (even though as bizarre as they are they actually have jobs) because we are presumed to be their superiors.
Meanwhile the mumbling, illiterate, and utterly unemployable Rachel Jeantel is sacrosanct. We just don’t “get” her because It’s A Black Thing, You Wouldn’t Understand.
The fact that she is a liar doesn’t bother them.

Two things.
Rachel is a functional idiot. I blame her parents and her segregated culture for that.
Secondly, the prosecution knew she was an idiot and a liar and someone who had no credibility at all and they had no business putting her on the stand knowing that even a first year law student could take her apart on cross examination.
BDLR is an unscrupulous pig who has not only destroyed George Zimmerman’s life, but also this poor unfortunate functional idiot.
All to appease the culture that created Rachel and other functional idiots like her.
The black culture, such as it is more destructive to the human spirit than the slave culture from whence it came. These people are their own slave masters, refusing to allow their children to be educated and insisting on passing down a tradition of poverty and ignorance.
And white limousine liberals, like the author of this screed, encourage this destruction as it creates a permanent government dependent underclass.

The stupid is in the analysis. My only problem with Jeantel is any absence of honesty.

I’ve been deliberately avoiding this whole thing since it’s apparent that reason flew out the window long ago and rationality is nowhere to be found, but the introduction of Ms. Jeantel is so peculiar that I need to throw a few things out.
First off, Jeantel is a Haitian surname. Really low on the south Florida social pecking order among black people themselves. Haitians freak out American blacks, I’ve seen it many, many times, somewhere between fear and revulsion, as opposed to say the reaction to a devout, hardworking Christian university student who is African. That reaction is resentment verging upon hatred.
So, Trayvon was hanging with Ms. Jeantel, reported to have been his girlfriend if I’m not mistaken? She’s not attractive in the least. She reportedly suggested to Trayvon that Zimmerman might be a rapist. Now, why would that thought enter her mind? Implication appears to be that Trayvon was homosexual. Why would defense want to plant that suspicion among an all female jury? Weakness, sympathy.
Why would they concoct this cursive letter that she herself couldn’t read? Sympathy due to the mockery that they surely knew would come.
Back off mocking her, it’s what they want, imho. She couldn’t have been more mockable if she had been in a skit on SNL. Intentionally.
I have no problem with how she speaks.
I have a problem with what she says.
To her, lying is as natural as breathing.
After listening to her for a quite a while, she actually has a bit of a charm to her for standing up for herself. I'm afraid that may make her more sympathetic to the jury.
However, she's a liar. A repeated liar. And the thing that struck me the most was the she lies when it's in HER best interest (not because she thinks she's helping in the conviction of TM's killer). She didn't want to make statements to the police and attorneys, so she lied about being 16. She didn't want to go to the funeral, so she lied about being hospitalized. She lies to when it best benefits HER.
And the oddest thing is that for someone who has CONSTANTLY talked and texted with TM for WEEKS and then abruptly stops, she claims she doesn't even know he's been killed for days/weeks?
And in all her testimony, I never saw a single tear for TM. None. She's cold or just doesn't understand the value of life (which may be another flaw of her youth culture).
And that letter to TM's parents? That was written to get TM's mom off her back. It practically screamed, “Here's what you're hounding me about. Here's the most minimalist letter I can write. Now leave me alone.” It was actually a cruel letter to a grieving mother.
Bottom line: She's a liar. She's only concerned about herself. And I think what she's covering up is that she egged TM on . . . to go back and confront GZ. She's not telling the whole truth . . . not by a long shot.
The most self-centered, emotionless, self-serving witness I've ever seen. I honestly don't think she cares anything about the death of TM . . . only that she won't be inconvenienced or that her complicity in his death won't be revealed.
Embarrassing situations often make people uncomfortable, not one's otherness. (whatever that means) Otherness must mean stupid and arrogant based on her demeanor.
She is an embarrassment to Americans.
The problem is fed ed and a family unit behind her
She’s a perfect example of what Liberalism has brought. She’s beyond reproach, like Trayvon. The dumbed down beligerent black underclass is a wholly owned product of Liberalism. They own it 100%. And they, the Liberals, have made it impossible to improve the education of young blacks because to disagree with their unions or with Liberalism is racism. To think that she’s not just as smart, educated, and intelligent as the next person is racism, in the Liberal view. And if Trayvon attacked Zimmerman for being a creepy Cracker and was beating him to death, that’s okay. Trayvon was a black man who would have resembled the President’s son, had he had one. Therefore, we know all that we need to know about the case, in the view of Liberalism. Zimmerman, a heretofore unknown tribesman of the white Hispanic grouping, is to be lynched to save the chauvinism of Liberalism and its preposterous lies.
