Dumber than dumb to ever think that this group of corrupt democrats led by Schumer of all rats, would be better than the ‘86 group that shafted President Reagan!

The Republicans keep getting played. All in one swoop, Schumer and the Dems marginalized Rubio’s popularity with his party, destroying him as a political threat AND made him the face of bipartisanship in the quest for amnesty. Rubio is the spokesman for the Democrats while Schumer shows up on TV once in a while to issue threats of mobs and mass demonstrations if this opposition keeps up.

The Republicans never see it coming. They just play along to their detriment, over and over again.

Media is bought and paid for unfortunately....it's now all about ‘entertaining the people’ while Gov. moves along without any restraints....certainly not the peoples knowledge for the most part. And even when we know it is ALWAYS after the fact... and beyond doing much other than protest about and that only slows it down some...til the next news-bite to deter us.

I think Breit and The Blaze have attempted to bring us news...but even they have gotten into the hype business. But I do miss Briet a lot...not the same without him there.

The train is simply too far down the track to stop now...and it seems too many Patriotic Americans were alerted it was leaving the depot during their favorite sports game...the choice was made to sit and watch the game and let someone else handle it........and they did.

Good assessment of our present and recent past.

Thus the we have lost OUR country to the barbarians....there’s nobody fighting off the hoards...simply appeasing and making their own nests comfy in the process.

Makes ya wonder how long the “silent majority” is willing to not get real skin in the game....and I’m talking use of the Internet which is where these things are now fought moreso then in the halls of Congress.

We need some hackers and Internet Warriors big time...unfortunately too many of our guys in Washington are too old and washed out to play on that field. They’re still using “staffers” with pen in hand jotting notes they quickly send for the payoffs they get for doing so. Then our guys wonder what’s happening.

I suppose I'm a little like General George Washington in my will to fight on. We have been losing battle after battle after battle, but (imho) this war is not over yet. We (all America) may have to have our Valley Forge moment together to make it back on top though and come out victorious. A chance is always a calculated risk and thus far our risk has been on the low end of the scale. Valley Forge may teach each of us what we need to be taught, if such a time should occur once more.

Well I gotta get going...errands of course..life outside does go on.

BTW we will always fight back...no matter how small a number we are...Gideons Army surprisingly fared well...in fact God decreased their numbers to pretty much a handful from what they were....hummm-mmm...I need to remember that! ;)

Thanks for the dialog...later then..

Rubio is Hispanic and will quite naturally favor Hispanics. Only a white American is dumb enough to not realize that.

While it is true, that Rubio is pandering here to his race, I do take offense to you making a blanket statement like that. I'm Hispanic and I do not want this bill to pass. I have other conservative Hispanic friends and family members that feel the same way. I know it can be hard to find Hispanic conservatives, but we are out there and there are some of us who want to see what's best for this country and do not make race a factor in our decisions.

"If I were living in Florida would I vote for a left-wing Demonrat before Rubio?"

That is why there are primaries.

That's assuming Rubio made it through the primary, which he well may despite his self-inflicted injuries.

I don’t assume he will make it through at all. Conservatives still dominate the primary system. That is why Crist lost to Rubio in the first place. That is why Rubio shut his mouth about illegals when his poll numbers dropped like a log after he went after the AZ immigration laws before the primary. But I would not be surprised at all if Rubio lost but decided to pull a Crist/Murkowski and run as an independent. The RINOs in Florida make people (conservatives) sign a non defect statement to work as a member of the republican party. But they don’t see anything wrong with abandoning the party to run as an independent in the general election.

They are always trying to find a way to weaken the strength of conservatives in the primaries. They haven’t been able to accomplish that yet.
