and with McVeigh- the Feds hid docs from the defense, and Bush still let the execution go through.

I have a buddy that worked for one of the major airlines. He was the guy that inspected work done by the mechanics and signed the log books on the planes.
I asked him what was the scuttlebutt around the maintenance hangers from the guys who know every nut and bolt of those planes was regarding 800.
“It was shot down.”
He still believes that to this day.

I can’t forget the a press conference in 1996 where James Kahlstrom of the FBI is speaking and the head of the NTSB, James Hall was standing behind rolling his eyes. That told me everything.
Besides why would an aircraft fly over the Atlantic with a near empty fuel tank?

Who says someone didn’t claim responsibility? If it was a government coverup, they sure wouldn’t have told us.

I never believed the offical report that came out about TWA 800.
What people need to do it put all of this in prospective after all the recent revelations of how the government has been lying to us, harassing the Tea Party with the IRS, the NSA listening to people's phone calls.
In hindsight ? was TWA a accident that involved the center gas tank on a Boeing 747 ? or was it a government cover up of something else ?

And what about the other plane that went down on Long Island right after 9/11? The tail supposedly fell off.

That's the problem they had with developing a new fuel for the SR-71 BlackBird because the plane's skin at super sonic speed would be at tempetures over 600 degrees, way over the temperatures in a 747 center fuel tank.
So yes there are stabilizers for fuels and I do believe that they engineered them to only burn at certain temperatures.

Is it true that Chanda Levi worked as an intern with the federal Bureau of Prisons and was somehow involved in the McVeigh case?

" Besides why would an aircraft fly over the Atlantic with a near empty fuel tank? "
That would be a center fuel tank according to the official report.
Besides ? if it was true in which I doubt, that would be the last tank that they would drain during flight to keep the center of gravity.
If the center tank was empty and the wing tanks were used then the plane's weight would shift as one tank is emptied.
To: American Constitutionalist
for the relatively short ranged flight, only the wing mains were needed, and the center would be empty.

Yes, a short flight but this plane was going over the Alantic Ocean, correct ?
To: haole
Yes. That’s the one. Was that determined to be pilot error?

Thanks for the confirm in my relating the issue covered. As i said it was 4 am PST. :-)
To: cynwoody
Hey, I’m just telling what was said. That said, I don’t buy the electrical wire short story peddled by the feds. Was the flight line up changed...easy to confirm. Military (Navy) in the area at time of crash, might be possible to confirm. Did they leave the area at time of rescue operation, again might be possible to confirm. Was there a boat rental by some questionable looking guys, possible to confirm or not. Somebody with the time and talent to follow up on this theory, I would hope someone comes forward with the truth. Some retired NTSB guys who were working on this crash are gonna talk in the next few weeks. Lets hope they will share the truth about TWA flight 800. The families, survivors?, and the American people deserve the truth.
