So the "Conservative" answer is job training and/or tightening welfare requirements - NOT importing more foreign workers, 57% of who collect at least one form of welfare themselves.
So that is why we have the likes of Obama and Rubio foisted on us?
I’m starting to think Rove is behind this and is getting ready to push for a Christie/Rubio ticket right now.
Oh goodie... more bushite retreads attacking Conservatives in ways they never have the balls to attack a rat with.

As a high school teacher, it is obvious that many of America's young people have been assiduously taught how to NOT work.
Come in late, leave early, many breaks and vacations, minimal effort and still earn an "A".
Children learn more by watching than by listening and schools are Socialist Nirvana's.
“Rubio aides”
not Rubio
it is amazing how the lack of wisdom and/or blind loyalty of political figures (men and women, including Romney, George Bush and Sarah Palin) in choosing dumb flawed or otherwise idiot “aides” can seal their fate
“There is no doubt that Mexicans, filled with dignity, willingness and ability to work, are doing jobs that not even blacks want to do there in the United States.”
— Vincente Fox, former President of Mexico
Player Piano.
Those that can, do.
Those that can’t get free rubbers from Zero and leach off those who are doing the doing.
Had one woman seat us at IHOP who had at least 4 lip rings, turned my stomach.
And there, in a nutshell, is the problem w/ “Conservative” ‘solutions’
The REAL answer is dismantling the welfare, min. wage, SS, AKA: BIG GOV’T, machine(s). Let alone ENFORCING current laws, or having them removed if they are ineffective, let alone Unconstitutional.
One wants to be lazy, it’s not up to anyone else to provide their bread in bed.
Is it possible that Rubio’s “aides” were provided by the Dems? Or by Charlie Crist’s “RINO friends”?
Incorrect. The leeches are not interested in working for a wage, and few ever enter the work force. The people the aide refers to are the chronically underemployed, former tradesmen and laborers who have been cut out of the workforce by illegal immigrant labor. They are largely uneducated and unskilled so they cannot "retool" as white-collar laborers. But they cannot compete for their old jobs because they cannot afford to live on third-world wages. In the eyes of Marco Rubio they are "not cut out for the work force."
I'm done voting if it comes to that. To hell with them.
“said that some workers either can’t or won’t make it in the work force anyway”
Compared to what, those high skilled illegal roofer workers who splattered cement all over my patio on the outside of my mid-rise town house unit?
What’s the problem with that comment? It’s very true. Plenty are lazy, incompentent and the like. Does that mean they have some special screening process to weed out immigrants that will be the same? The same is true for any human being out there no matter the country they are from. It’s a pretty lame argument to assume that foreigners that want to come here are always harder working or made clearly better career choices than Americans have.
While what Rubio said is factually true... it doesn’t mean we need foreign workers to make up for the Americans who are unable to hold a job.
The argument is usually followed up with: these are crappy jobs that no American wants to do... but this is a fallacy. If you offered someone enough money, I’m sure any job can be filled.
Does anyone have the political backbone to deal with this issue? My fear is maintaining the status quo is worse...
I wish to hell people would take a few minutes and learn the “legal” definition of treason. And find how seldom it has been used outside war.
You got it. This is about wage depression, nothing else.
I’d like to know, just what are these deep, dark secretive little jobs that are so horrible only “dignified” Mexicans will perform them? I mean, really. And when did we acquire said jobs, must have been within the last 20 years because before then there really wasn’t a job that a black or white person wouldn’t do. Was there?
