This is a tough decision. I feel we should just stay out of it...and I really don't think there are any good guys. All I do know is Assad and his regime are a bunch of war criminals: Intentionally targeting hospitals and civilians (women and children)...but I have no delusions that the rebels don't/wouldn't do the same thing.

Your Post #5 is spot-on.

There are no good guys over there. I’d prefer that we just stay out of it and continue to let both sides kill one another - just like we should have done in Libya.

the Shah was evil...and Saddam Hussein...and Batista....and lets not forget that those evil Serbians killed and buried 10,000 Kosovo people in that one grave...

the point is....the devil you know vs the devil you don't know....

would the world be completely different if the Shah of Iran had remained in power?......
