Too numerous to list all. Rejection is probably the numer one problem. She will have to take expensive meds for the rest of her life, These lungs are a foreign object in her body. In Sarah’s case, if she survives longer than the first year, will probably have to have another tx as she grows.Children receiving adult lungs prospect of longevity is greatly reduced. I feel badly for her and her family.

Yes, likely all true. But for now there is HOPE!

What hope? that she will come out of the procedure alive? I am so frustrated that people do not understand that just because she got “new” lungs that is going to be right with the world
