Well I guess they gave all their happiness away! None was left.

Well they used helium so presumably were happy to the end. Good show!

Sounds like the “life coaches” were in need of a Referee.

This story sounds a bit odd. I don’t intend to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but if they really did commit suicide, what is the real reason? Did they commit some type of outrageous fraud and were about to be exposed, or were these two people murdered? For a moment let’s enter their minds before they killed themselves. I’m sure both were thinking, “hey, we made millions writing books about happiness, so let’s show the world that everything we wrote was wrong.” However, I’m not sure if they were really thinking that. So we should ask ourselves again, were these folks involved in a major fraud?

It’s a big mistake to be happy all the time.
When my daughter was a baby I used to make her laugh for hours but then later she would cry for hours.

Well, I’m thinking of worldly views of happiness, like life’s a gas then you die and then there’s nothing.

Is this a harbinger?
Other reports say that they used an "exit bag" which 'is becoming more common because of it provides "a fast, peaceful, undetectable death" '(sic)
Hey, yeah! Great idea! I think I'll try that!

A theory: they must have been very unhappy and also envious of each other should the remaining partner find happiness. Hence the double suicide.

Amen. No amount of fancy feelgood fluff can do an end around on that fact.
