Total nonfarm payroll employment rose by 165,000 in April, while involuntary part-time employment increased by 278,000. If I understand the definitions used, that means we lost 113,000 full-time jobs in April. I don't have the corresponding May numbers, but they should be slightly worse. This fiasco is described by Obama's cheerleaders as the "Best in Five Years".
I saw we lost FT jobs in April so I was wondering if it was the same.
If I understand this correctly, the Sequester forced us to spend less money and companies seeing this are now starting to hire.
Will be funny to see if Obama pivots on this and now says the Sequester was his.
