Ron Paul is able to reach the hearts and mind of the youth with a message of limited government and economic freedom.

Okay, you and I say "limited government" etc. And what they hear is "no-fault sodomy, hetero-nookie, abortion, and legal drugs." Most of the young Paulites I've met are radical individualists, unlike Tea Party types—who are morality-based, community-building volunteers, and mostly older.

I think we can convert many of the kids eventually, especially as they grow up, but as a group, they are foremost very ticked-off, socially awkward kids.

He'd be fine if he really did that. There's no question that the size of government is directly proportional to its eventual immorality. Lots of conservatives here fail to realize that moral principles are easily trumped by money. For example Planned Parenthood spent millions of their tax dollars in anti-Romney ads here in Virginia. Ron Paul would ban funding PP but refuses to cut his own pet projects, not really walking the walk.
