The GOP leadership has more fossils than the Museum of Natural History.
Sometimes I wonder if the brontosaurs laughed at the funny-looking mammals with tails, even while the comet was inbound or the volcanoes were smoldering.

I also respect Mc Cain’s, Charlie Rangle’s service and Daniel Inouye’s Service but I have a hell of a lot to say about their politics.

Dole was in the House when Medicare passed; it is possible he voted against it (I don’t know.), but it was liberal KS Republicans James Pearson and Frank Carlson who joined with LBJ on Medicare.

Dole, McCain, Romney. Never has more money been spent on people who are so easily forgotten.
To: lowbridge
Old Dole does not understand that decades of these “deals” are the reasons
this once great country is now on the brink.
To: allendale
If only they would go away and let us forget them.

Newton Gingrich first called Dole the “tax collector for the welfare state”, but then Newton stumped for Dole against Pat Buchanan in 1996.

Isn’t he dead yet? Why can’t we be spared the wisdom of the losers?
Hey Bob, you lost to the only twice elected president NOT to receive a majority popular vote in either of his victories. Why in the name of God would we want your advice?

And then NC Republicans squandered away the Helms seat with “Liddy” Dole.
NC - Helms= Chaos

“Asked whether he would be welcomed by the Republican Party today, Dole said, I doubt it.”
He shouldn’t be. He is part of why we are in the degraded state we are in now.

What’s the old saying about giving the opposition the rope with which to hang yourself?
Bloody Stump Republicans compromising away the foundation of this nation.

Dole supported McCain and then Romney. Hey, Bob, we lost!
Yes, close her down and let the Tea Party Patriots have a go at it. Get rid of all of you crossing over the aisle and throwing away/not having one/ a conviction politician and we would be able to rebuild the government to a well run business... with results/which works for us/everyone. Wow, what a concept, Mr. Dole.
To: lowbridge
He's right. Close shop so we can clean house of folks like him and McCain and the rest of the "mavericks".
We don't need "Republicans" ready to cut deals with Democrats, who don't feel any reason to deal with anything. They want what they want and will call you racist if you don't cave in.

The same types of questions could be asked of Old Democrats - questions about the radical changes in their party... but for some unknown reason /s old democrats aren't asked those questions.
Wallace also got in a ‘gotcha’ to be used after Dole's dead - Wallace confirmed Dole was behind the creation of ‘Disability’ - a noble idea at the time that's been perverted into the new welfare.
