Islam is simply the expression and mobilization of the Arab world view. Pride-based, it keeps a personally consuming running score of who is winning and losing, who is standing tall and who is trampled underfoot. The most shameful thing in the world is to be defeated, and the only thing that matters is being the winner. Hence, their consuming hatred for Israel.
Liberals have adopted the submissive, feminine posture in response. The Islamists have noticed.
