I just think it’s ridiculous to go after an 18 year old for dating a 15 year old, especially if they were dating a year earlier, at 14 and 17, and it wasn’t illegal. It’s a three year age difference. If I had a young daughter and she had a boyfriend 3 years older, I’d certainly be the most cumbersome third wheel that boy ever encountered, but if they were attached to each other, and he seemed like a nice enough sort, I wouldn’t suddenly consider him a criminal when he turned 18 if he wasn’t one when he was 17 and they were already together.
So you’re perfectly fine with a 14 year old girl having sex.
Suppose her contraception does’t work? Would you favor your 14 year old daughter raising a child on her own, you the grandmother raising the child, or abortion?
Plesae answer, this is not a rhetorical question; since you think a 14 year old is perfectly capable of having an active sex life, what about if she gets pregnant?
