Virginia officials: Tamerlan burial a grave injustice

(VIDEO-AT-LINK)

Flabbergasted Virginia officials have asked authorities there to look into whether the secret burial of accused marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev in a rural Muslim cemetery broke any laws — but one expert says they likely have no ground to stand on.

Tsarnaev’s burial at the Al-Barzakh Cemetery in Doswell, Va., sent shock waves yesterday through Caroline County, where local officials — unaware of the hush-hush funeral until reporters started flooding their voicemails — say they don’t want the stain of his remains on their quiet community.

The brouhaha prompted the state attorney general’s office to step in and review the burial, according to Floyd Thomas, chairman of the county board of supervisors.

“Of all the localities,” Thomas said, “this is probably one of the last ones we would have thought of.”

But with the death certificate and burial permit already on file and the body in a private cemetery, there was no obligation to even inform local officials, according to an expert in burial law....

It’s a dead body. It goes in the ground. You think it’ll be a shrine? Great,, go p*ss on the ground around it if it will make you feel better.

Wouldn’t it be fun to drill down to the casket, dump in a bunch of HE explosives, and set them off by remote!! What a great video it would make!

I don’t think it will be long before the Navy names one of their ships after this pig.

First, before that, they will have to name a base after "Major" Nidal Hassan.

The Virtual Flowers feature has been turned off for this memorial because it was being continually misused.

LOL!

Just reminded of this famous statement in a recent congressional hearing:

‘The Taliban is in the building’

The first thing I ever remember about the people that attacked our country on 911 was OBL’s first statement to our country. He was obsessed with ‘weak horse’ analogies... I was scared by his evil...brave men were inspired to fight..scary times.

But now..a decade later...i am chilled by his prediction..

OMG...the strong horse has become weakened by his enemies because he is afraid of being labeled a ‘Strong Horse’....can you imagine?

Yet we place bets on horses in the Kentucky Derby, the Belmont..many with Arabian ancestry and Saudi backing..we don’t even know who we are betting on anymore....let that sink in.

The Islamists know about ‘horse racing’.....figuratively and concretely...right now...Obama and his apologists are letting them run without opposition...to show them just how weak a horse we possess.

The joke is on the ‘infidels’.....

...”joke is on the ‘infidels’.....”

Oh sure..in their eyes...

...part of why they see us that way is, we do not have an understanding of what they mean when they express similar vocubulary we use, we think they mean the same thing when in fact, even basic vocabulary, their meaning is entirley different....but they let us think we’re on the same page.

If indeed they believe we are infidels...then that’s a death sentence in their eyes....not just a bad name.

Excellent idea. And mix in a portion of kittie litter to soak up the bad smell.

There’s already a patrol car guarding the grave site.

Were they stoopid enough to mark it?

Probably because they can’t get grass to grow there?

No, but since it's the only unmarked grave in a small cemetery, it isn't hard to figure out which one it is.

Not as bad as having a victory-celebrating mosque erected on the graves of the WTC victims...

Now *that* would be amusing. But it’s one weird-looking burial place.

If I lived and paid property taxes in Doswell, or if I were a local official in Doswell, I’d be damned sure there was no patrol car near the cemetery after this week. If it’s desecrated, it’s desecrated. Not as if that doesn’t happen all the time to cemeteries across the country, especially historic cemeteries.

Let the local mosque or cemetery itself pay to protect the gravesite if it’s important to them.

Exactly. If it’s a private cemetery, let THEM foot the bill for security. If somebody breaks in and steals the body, well, c’est la vie!

Leave him in the dirt and let his name fade to the obscurity it deserves. This does nothing but keep him “alive”.

An important distinction you are making there. We don’t understand them because we are not allowed to even examine their religion in context to this war on terror.

It IS an important distinction, just as you stated Penelopesire, very important.

It isn't just a language difference....our meaning and that of the Islam is so very different...and they do not help the situation by letting us “believe” we are speaking with the same meaning.

They will agree that the world needs ‘Peace’....and use it often....but to them, and in their minds, ‘Peace is ONLY thru Islam’. So you see when they are using the term Peace it's quite another thing then how we see Peace. Yet they never reveal this in the course of conversation.
