Really. We certainly can not go set up in Mexico! Even if they had a welfare system we would not be entitled. We can not get Medical help with out cash up front. Hell, they won’t even give you a permanent residency until you prove you make x amount, and don’t try to get a real job, unless you are specialized in something they need. They don’t want us taking a job one of their citizens could do. I think it is great. We should follow their laws!

RE :”
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) aims to block any illegal immigrant from ever receiving any state, local, or federal welfare or public benefits with a series of amendments to the immigration reform bill currently under review in the U.S. Senate.
Cruz has filed five amendments to the bill. The one currently marked Cruz 2 on the Senate Judiciary Committee website (the amendments have not yet received official numbers) has a stated purpose to provide that aliens who have entered or remained present in the United States while not in lawful status shall not be eligible for means-tested benefits.
The amendment would insert language into the bill that specifically says no illegal immigrant who broke the law to enter or stay in the country shall be eligible for any Federal, State, or local government means-tested benefit, nor shall such alien be eligible for any benefit under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act Pub. L. 111-148), regardless of the aliens legal status at the time of application for such benefit. According to FNC this is for life too.
Cruz is the only Republican in congress that actually takes on Democrats (and the McCain types even better) and he strikes them like a cruise (Cruz) missile right to their weak spots/nerves.
Watching him in action gives the impression that the rest of the GOP Senators are just play acting opposition, either they work with Dems or they are just ineffective and bark Bow wow for cameras.

ReFORM the Republic!!
A Republic is a system of governance characterized by the rule of Law. When the Law fails to rule, the Republic ceases to exist.
If the American Republic ceases to exist, then government Of the people, By the people, For the people -- Government for We the people whose rights were secured at no small cost...
EARN THIS
...also ceases to exist -- and that is NOT acceptable.

It was supposed to be an honor and a duty to serve TEMPORARILY - not a full time profession for L.I.F.E.R. bureaucratic termites.

It seems like the Republicans in D.C., as a whole, either just completely gave up....gave in to the Dims. More than a hand full just sold us out.

It’s a commendable effort, but these amendments are going down faster than Monica. HE doesn’t have the votes, the gang of eight voted down an amendment to secure the borders first, before granting amnesty, what does that tell you,New York is going to pass a bill to allow illegal immigrants to vote! Coming to all liberal conclaves near you
