If I violated the excerpt rule, sorry. 2nd time posting.
Has there been any word from the CIC demanding his immediate release?
No? Did he send Dennis Rodman?
I’ll pray for them. They knew the risk when the went. They went anyway. I applaud their faith convictions and hope the best for them. But I would not support any negotiation that involved any sort of concessions, monetary transfer or any promises to NK.
I might support threatening them and demanding to see weekly photos of the American prisoners.
“Anything we can do to help this guy?”
There was an American studying in Italy that got into some legal hot water there and somehow it got the attention of our own government and media to the point they tried to intervene. The who, what, where, how and when I don’t know, but someone will. Maybe their strategy can be copied.
In addition, we will certainly pray.
So just let him break rocks for 15 years? The guy won’t survive, his loved ones will suffer. I wouldn’t care if he hurt someone, but it seems he wasn’t doing anything threatening. This man doesn’t deserve this.
What would you say the cost of a life is?

Agreed, it’s a very bad situation for the guy unjustly imprisoned but continually appeasing North Korea’s bad behavior has been tried countless times and it hasn’t worked; only encouraged more of the same.
I’m so sorry, I did say this was my second time posting.
I thought those fields were for my title, and who was posting.
Thank you for your input though, in the future I will remember your post as trying to be helpful, instead of it certainly seeming to be spiteful.
I just sound spiteful.
In fact I'm harmless and lovable.
It's a good day for it.
“So just let him break rocks for 15 years? ...This man doesnt deserve this.”
That’s the tragedy, isn’t it? The man also knew what he was doing and what failure meant. He had to also understand that NK would turn him into a hostage.
