Giving the aide the benefit of the doubt, he could be correct, the info did not go beyond DHS and given the source of the info, that means Crapatano will be under the bus faster than I thought it would happen. The little O has to protect himself here at all costs and if this comment is any where accurate, it means she is a goner. If she opens her mouth, she will be enshrined at Ft Marcy Park for sure.

The aide also makes mention of the whitehut national security apparatus....in 2012 that would have been Brennan, right? The plot thickens.

Everyone is missing the fact the ambassador met Obama after the bombing and 2 days before they released the pictures. If they knew he was a suspect and shared it with big sis and not FBI or CIA they are toast.

Could the Saudis be throwing Obama under the bus, all they have to do is leak they gave the file to Kerry or Bozo and its over.

Maybe now is the time for Incompetano to come out as a protected species, a lesbian. It might save her life/ career. All of her bungling could have been because she was living a Horrible Lie and not her fault.

I’m relatively sure that not all info gets to the WH, I suspect it gets screened on the way up (I don’t know for sure, have never worked in government, I’m just thinking about how it works in a corporation). That said, if high-ups in the Russian and Saudi governments had sent letters warning of an individual(s), then one would surmise that they would reach fairly high levels in the US government.

President Bush had daily briefings (early a.m.) with Stephen Hadely (head of Nat’l Security)and other meetings w his advisors (daily IIRC) and other security advisors frequently. Obummer not so much (though his advisor claims he reads the briefing every day). I remembered this coming up in the last election (along with him not meeting with his economic council, etc., etc.). I guess if he doesn’t attend briefings, the word doesn’t get to him, so he thinks he can keep his grubby hands clean (I know nothing!). Wonder if Valerie is having briefings as part of her ‘co-presidency’.

Why is Obama skipping more than half of his daily intelligence meetings?
By Marc A. Thiessen,September 10, 2012

From the article:
“The Government Accountability Institute, a new conservative investigative research organization, examined President Obama’s schedule from the day he took office until mid-June 2012, to see how often he attended his Presidential Daily Brief (PDB) — the meeting at which he is briefed on the most critical intelligence threats to the country. During his first 1,225 days in office, Obama attended his PDB just 536 times — or 43.8 percent of the time. During 2011 and the first half of 2012, his attendance became even less frequent — falling to just over 38 percent. By contrast, Obama’s predecessor, George W. Bush almost never missed his daily intelligence meeting.”

“While the Bush records are not yet available electronically for analysis, officials tell me the former president held his intelligence meeting six days a week, no exceptions — usually with the vice president, the White House chief of staff, the national security adviser, the director of National Intelligence, or their deputies, and CIA briefers in attendance. Once a week, he held an expanded Homeland Security briefing that included the Homeland Security adviser, the FBI director and other homeland security officials. Bush also did more than 100 hour-long “deep dives” in which he invited intelligence analysts into the Oval Office to get their unvarnished and sometimes differing views. Such meetings deepened the president’s understanding of the issues and helped analysts better understand the problems with which he was wrestling.”
