State Dept. spokesman Patrick Ventrell told reporters he was unaware of any issues regarding security clearances for attorneys and added that he had no knowledge of any whistleblowers either. This is classic lawyer-speak for "I know you are right, but I'm not going to be caught perjuring myself, and you can't prove otherwise". Another classic one is "There is no evidence of that", made famous by Shrillary.
Competent reporters know this, and if they weren't wearing Obama kneepads, they would have immediately called him out for his evasive answer.

Curious how good is Victoria Toensing? She is going to have to be very good to take on this administration. I see the admistrations game plan as trying to make it into 2014 elections thinking they can take back the House. If their plan works then Victoria Toensing and her clients are toast.
