The Shore is still a mess, and Obama didn’t do squat.
Christie mishandled the whole storm preparation thing—no gas, no water, most of the NJ Transit rolling stock under water, weeks before power restored.
If it were not for the churches and charitable organizations in the Shore areas doing yeoman work to fill the vacuum created by a lack of leadership b Christie, Obama and FEMA, the situation would have been worse tenfold.
I don’t cry over Bruce Springsteen like Christie, but I did cry over the lack of response from the State and Federal government—my family members were smack in the middle of the whole mess.
Obama on the links while people were without shelter, hunting for clothing, food and water,cutting down trees on their own to help the power crews save time—no GOP President would have gotten away with it.
Lots of Freepers helped NJ, to which I say thanks, and you did more than Obama and Christie did combined.

Remember when lots of folks on this board were salivating for him to run against Obama? All it takes is uttering a few conservative sound bites and you can be a Republican savior. Colin Powell is another example. We need to be more careful in who we consider an ally.

Maybe this kissing up to Obama will get him reelected in New Jersey, but to me it just shows me this guy is a jerk of no integrity. Under Reagan, most Republicans were all on one side. Not now. Obama is an ideological abomination, and any Republican who can play nice with him is no true conservative.

The situation in New Jesey is horrorfic. Both Obama & Christie failed big time. Thousands of New Jersey citizens are in major distress and pain, while Christie kisses Obama’s butt,,,, and, Obama plays unending golf and celebrity hip hopping!!! Shame on both of them!!!
I wonder if Obama promised ol’tubby a pound of butter, some donuts and a cuddle by the fireplace?
In other words, Christie and NJ have received the multitudes of payouts Obama promised despite thousands still being homeless six months after the storm.

No, he just wants to protect his own interests. If he has any principles, they are secondary. But dense he is not.
And why anyone ever thought this guy was a conservative is beyond me. Just because he mouthed off to the teachers’ union?
