If you had said reference books... I would have agreed. If you need a survival book if stuff gets bad, you are way behind the power curve and the AC is 2 miles ahead of you.

No-one remembers that waters boils 1F less per 500 ft AGL(unless it ever really, really mattered to you) and that's in reference books.
