Agree and disagree only because yes...often projects are a waste of time, but in this case it may be the ONLY time any of these kids pick of a needle and thread in their lives. Plus they had to use team-work. That said I think it was a better project that some I’ve seen....like in sex ed classes where they learn to put a condom on a banana or the likes.

Sorry these weren’t little kids... at their age, there are so many subjects and venues of expression that actually might help them be successful in life. They could have produced a brochure. Needlework is something you might learn in grade or middle school... if my kids had wasted time in high school doing this instead of say SAT or AP prep, I would have lost it.
