F the haters!......sounds like she hates them.
Doesn't go to the gun range either.
that’s exactly the point I made to my teenage daughter when we heard this while driving her to school this morning. US$1.50 per day is worth a lot more in 3rd world countries than it is here in the states.
She “got” the point, understood that it’s just a cheap and meaningless stunt. She even made, all on her own, the logical/analytical leap that he’s doing this in response to not getting the Best Director Oscar for Argo.
You and DJoker Scumbaraev went to the same high school.
Happy Reunion!
when he gives all him money to the poor, let me know
And everyone’s favorite millionare Warren Buffett lives on minimal wage which is doable if you already have everything you use all paid off...
The irony is that any money that he doesn’t spend during these five days will still be spent by him in the future on his lavish, Hollywood lifestyle.
Find some wind turbines, harvest the shredded poultry downstream, cook over free firewood.
At $1.50 per day you have to be a good shot and can’t waste any ammo on stuff that won’t taste good.
Are not celebrities GIVEN almost everything for nothing. $38,000 gift boxes at the parties after the Oscars. He could eat for a month on his expending $1.50.
Good! No soup for you (Ben)!
Ben’s late to the party:
I tried an experiment in December of 2012. I wanted to see if I could live on Raisin Bran Crunch & milk for the entire month—ONLY eating that. I ate sometimes 2 times a day-—sometimes 3 times a day.
I wanted to determine how much supplies I would need when the revolution crisis hits the USA and if I could keep up my energy & also not get bored out of my mind with this menu.
I used a total of 6 boxes of such product with 4 gallons of milk.
I paid $3.68 for each box of Raisin Bran & I pay $3.99 for a gallon of milk.
That totals $38.84 for the month, which calculates to just over $1.25 per day.
I guess I could have had dessert if I had tried to live on $1.50 like Ben & the Hollywood elites!!!
My experiment lasted 31 days——NOT just 5 days!
Shopping at Aldi in Texas:
$1.00 6 packets ramen
$0.99 8 oz packet cream cheese
$1.79 42 oz oatmeal
$1.89 3 lb apples (about 7-9)
$2.00 2 dozen eggs
Day 1 Breakfast (oatmeal w 1 apple) Lunch (Scrambled eggs) Dinner (Ramen soup w 1 fried egg)
Day 2 Breakfast (Omelette) Lunch (oatmeal pancakes w/ apple) Dinner (Fettucine ala ramen)
Day 3 Breakfast (oatmeal w 1 apple) Lunch (Broth w egg) Dinner (Crispy Ramen pancakes)
Day 4 Breakfast (applesauce w/ toasted oats) Lunch (cream cheese crustless quiche) Dinner (Ramen noodle soup)
Day 5 Breakfast (oatmeal w 1 apple) Lunch (Creamy noodles) Dinner (Cream cheese oaty crepes)
I’m sure Ben would forgive me picking 17c from under the couch cushions
I totally missed that memo.
Worthless stunt and it does nothing. How about less government and more stimulated economies so people have more opportunity to rise above the poverty level and satisfy their nutritional needs with abundant food resources as a viable solution.
My old-time doctor told me years ago that all a body needs to survive is one can of tuna per day (and water, of course). That’s it! The cheap tuna is on sale this week for $3.99 per 4-pack. That’s a dollar a day. You could even throw in a few slices of bread with the remaining 50 cents, Ben.
Eggs, rice, beans, large bags of cheerios and potatoes, skim milk, carrots, celery, bananas and apples, hamburger patty once in a while, chicken wings once in a while - daily multivitamin.
Lot of nasty people on this thread, telling each other nasty lies to numb their consciences.
Ask me how I know! A buck fiddy is a good wage - it's one and a half times greater than zero
