WATERTOWN, MA -- On Friday, April 19, 2013, during a manhunt for a bombing suspect, police and federal agents spent the day storming people's homes and performing illegal searches. While it was unclear initially if the home searches were voluntary, it is now crystal clear that they were absolutely NOT voluntary. Police were filmed ripping people from their homes at gunpoint, marching the residents out with their hands raised in submission, and then storming the homes to perform their illegal searches.

This was part of a larger operation that involved total lockdown of the suburban neighbor to Boston. Roads were barricaded and vehicle traffic was prohibited. A No-Fly Zone was declared over the town. People were "ordered" to stay indoors. Businesses were told not to open. National Guard soldiers helped with the lockdown, and were photographed checking IDs of pedestrians on the streets. All the while, police were performing these disgusting house-to-house searches.

The alternative? Are you saying that all those LEO agencies, with all their training, equipment, experience and so forth at their disposal the best they could come up with was a plan that required for them to break from their primary duty that they are swore to that is to protect and uphold the Constitution of the United States?

And then we have Freepers The Harry Reid talking about 'imagined tranny' nothing about it was imagined.

Benjamin Franklin - "Those who surrender freedom for security will not have, nor do they deserve, either one."

The police tried and succeded with their police state tactics on the soft, dumbed down Lefty sheeple of MA.
The response would be much different the the South, much of the Midwest and Texas. If I’m wrong we’re doomed.

I have been kind of shocked that more people haven’t protested about this clearly illegal detainment of the innocent, and the blatant violation of the 4th amendment.

Every day, there are people on the loose in every city that have killed multiple people. There’s nothing to stop the police from adopting these same tactics to try to find those killers.

1 million defenseless sheeple cower in their homes while 15000 heavily armed troopers with armored vehicles, robots and black hawk helicopters search their houses for a scrawny 100 pound, 19 year old patsy. Only to be found by an old man looking in his boat. And then they cheer after he’s finally caught like they just won the superbowl. I’d hate to see what would happen if a real terrorist team was ever on the rampage.

The tried and succeed in their intimidation of the people of Boston, but it was only after they lifted their restrictions that a member of the public direct caused the capture of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

What is the alternative? The way we normally operate, in harmony with our Constitution.

Knock, identify, ask for permission. Ask questions to determine if the people in a home are under duress, if not, move on.

It’s not like the search actually found the guy. So all of the searches were an abject failure.

But any day, the police could go into downtown Chicago, and do a door-to-door like this in any public housing apartment complex, and find dozens of criminals. It’s a great way to catch criminals — and it only requires that you throw out the freedoms we hold dear.

You want to know whats really sad? There are more people right now worrying about Dzhokhar Tsarnaev Constitutional rights then there was people worried about the Constitutional rights of all those people who were locked down and had their homes searched.

Maybe they asked the person who answered the door if they could come in and look? Idk you don’t need a warrant if you ask and are told yes.

We're not doomed yet. In my neck of the woods in Texas the headlines would have been interesting.
