Seems more likely that perp is squawking like a jaybird and that authorities don’t want his “associates” to know that he’s giving them up.

I just posted on another thread a similar case in my neighborhood having to do with a fellow dealing meth...we think he’s a major player in the meth biz with major connections, but my friend has been forbidden to talk about it, even to police. The question then is whether they will be arrested or quickly hustled out of the country back to Saudi Arabia before they can be identified by the less compliant parts of the media.
