I ordered a stag model 8 a few days after Newtown. It was originally supposed to be available from Stag Arms next July. I picked it up a month ago. Paid $1,260. It just sits in the safe with the rest of the collection, waiting for tyranny.

The same gun was on Gun Broker with a buy now price of $2,300 the day I picked mine up. That's the price you pay to not have to wait 3-12 months for your rifle I guess.

I have a few stags, really like the 6.8s more than .556's. They have a light weight 308 in development which will be put off for a year if they move South; hope they stay put. I got all my stags for 800-900 and they are a well built AR.

Just ordered a Ca compliant (I can change over for here in Alaska) S&W M&P10 308, 18 inch barrel, collapsible stock; 8.1 lb. $1414 They must be shipping them out in appreciable numbers.
