The teenage boy authorities once investigated as possibly being connected to the Boston Marathon bombing told ABC News today he was shocked to see his face pop up on television and all over social media.

Suspect: "I didn't do it"
FBI: "Okay, you are free to go."
(paraphrasing Good Morning Vietnam): "We go up to them and ask them if they're the bomber, and if they say 'yes', we shoot them."
Revere High School PATRIOTS! My daughter lettered in Indoor track all three years.
Sometimes you have to use process of elimination. This kid and his coach seem to be in the clear.
really, man? Is it too hard for you to believe that ::gasp:: he may be innocent. i wouldn’t really think bombers would load up their social media about going and then when a news says they are a person of interest runs straight to the cops. What more can this guy do to convince you? I thought we are innocent until proven guilty?
I was worried about this happening.read the multitude of threads, this guy was convicted early. cmon now let justice take it’s course.
fyi
I’m sure there are other photos you can play CSI internet inspector with, not to worry.
Thanks for the update.
I’ve carried my camera in a pack and had it look very much like the image of the ‘bulge’ in the bacl of the pack. When the lenscap is on, the best way to protect the camer is to have the lense pointing outward in the zippered pouch.
“Good, ‘cause I got a hot date tonight.” [buzz]
This just in: Neither am I!
This photo was out long before I starting looking at it. It’s his coaches backpack that is dimensionally suspicious.
He’s being deported for security reasons....do you not wonder why? Five relatives are being housed at Gitmo.
Poor whitta fella.
PROVE IT PUNK!!!

I could care less if these people who were photographed carrying back packs near the scene of the blasts are offended that they are being tagged as potential suspects. It would be reckless in the extreme if all of these people are not identified and questioned, and that includes the white folks who have been shown with backpacks in that area. You follow up every lead. You don’t give anyone a free pass because you are worried about offending someone.
This isnt the same kid being deported.
I feel for this young fella. I knew once people started pulling pictures of anyone at the scene with a backpack that some pour soul was going to be freaking out. It could have happened to any of us that happened to be there with a backpack. I can’t imagine having my face splashed all over the internet with that sort of weighted incident on my back for all the world to see when all I was doing was standing with my backpack watching a race. Glad he came forward.
