Considering a government that would enact Fast & Furious and ignore all restrictions of search or seizure (executive), the Affordable Care Act/GCA/NFA (legislative), or that would declare the Constitution of no effect [see Schenck v. United States] (judicial) there is one question that needs to be asked: does our constitution matter?
If it does, then what are the penalties born of violating it? As far as I can tell the only penalties for violating a Constitution are to the people rather than the perpetrators; until there are real punishments to the perpetrators of these violations then there no point in having a constitution.
