A Left wing "Christian" named Jim Wallis was on Hugh Hewitt yesterday for 2 hours. Wouldn't reject Marxism, the Sandinistas, Castro, etc. Wouldn't cheer Reagan or Thatcher's work to end the threat of Communist imperialism from the Soviet Union (he did find a little to cheer about the Pope's efforts). Adamantly against the US ever using nuclear weapons (even in WWII and said that a land invasion would not have been necessary).
He was also a part of the anti-war movement in the 1960s, read Mao and Che and wouldn't denounce them (he only says that he sees the error of SOME of their ways). There was defense of SDS (who were used by the Soviets). It also gave way to the breakaway group known as the Weather Underground.

He cheered the Occupy movement and his only response to Hugh Hewitt's quotes of liberal commentators AND politicians like Biden was "you're being ridiculous" same response he gave to Hewitt's accounting of the rapes, murders, general crime, and bomb plots from the Occupy movement.
