I haven't set foot in an airport for ten years because I don't want to deal with the mentally-deficient affirmative-action goons of the TSA.

Guess I'll have to expand my boycott to new venues.

Good...fewer distractions. And when I need a breath or two of freedom I'll just go tour some other, more sane (and freer) country.

Let the masses choke on their f'ing police state.

Pressure cookers at retail stores will require proof of identity and registration.
Or a tax stamp.

Yet when you watch anything electronically, you get the cyber-patdown.

What good do “random” searches do? Seems like a waste, unless they think it will scare off bombers (which if they are suicidal, maybe nothing will)... /rhetorical

I have no interest in attending any event/establishment at which I can’t lawfully provide my “own” security (((ping))).

Wasn’t it Japan that had a subway bombing incident?

Those are the most terrifying and can only be prevented with massive disruptive security measures.

The irony of all these proposed urban security plans to humiliate the public is that they conflict with our “leaders” attempts to convince people to move back into cities.

A rural America is a vital America.

Good point. Here’s another: this is nothing in the constitution that precludes searches, just “unreasonable” ones.

I remember when Bush took care of this kind of fear.

After 9/11 there was a fear that large crowds were susceptible to terror and our way of life was dramatically threatened.

Then our Commander-in-Chief did his pitch at the World Series and confidence began to grow that we were not about to give up our way of life after all.

Now we have a timid CIC who doesn't care about all that. In fact, he may look forward to using the opportunity to do all he can to change our way of life.

Ugh ugh ugh.

I’m like you. I won’t comply with B.S.

Meanwhile, Obama has given tens of thousands of visas to Saudi “students”. Our border security with Mexico is a pathetic joke.

I don't need to fly, and will not fly for the sake of saving time when I must endure a pat-down while the muzzie in front of me gets a free pass.

If Freedom loving Americans would quit going to places where the Feds treat US as the enemy, the economics of it may cause them reconsider their anti-American tactics.

I'm with you, I haven't flown in decades because I haven't had the need but I have determined that I never will again. I might add that Busch Stadium has seen the last of me. I'll watch my Cardinals from the comfort and relative safety of my home.

Wherever swarthy, middle easterners are, I don't want to be there. I know there are some unswarthy ones, not as easily identified. None of them are welcome in my country, unfortunately, I don't run "my" country.

I would do a better job of running it than the idiot in the white hut though.

I've always maintained that a dozen or so two-man teams, armed with Barrett 50 cals, and randomly distributed and moved along the border, would do more to stop illegal immigration in its tracks than (in your example) the Great Wall of China

We could stop it on the other side by buying a couple (or more) Mexican Army Generals.

Or, of course, bomb the inside of a theater, crowded elevator, crowded nightclub, outdoor concert, or any number of less ‘official’ venues?

I seriously doubt you'd ability to bring a medium sized package (shoe box?) into any of your chosen venues without an inspection in detail. Maybe an elevator but that brings up the question of your escape route.

GtG

I dunno. The guy in Colorado did the ole prop the door open trick, and was able to bring his arsenal into a theater.

The elevator is easy - carry a briefcase, and leave it when you get off.

We have some nightclubs that are BYOB...people bring entire coolers in, so no problem there.

We have outdoor concerts with absolutely no security, and dozens of entry points. Its not a concert technically, but we have a 4th of July fireworks display by the lake....so everyone packs in to this one area of the park. Its free...dozens of entry points...there are hundreds of cars and thousands of people, carrying lawn chairs and backpacks.

Another thing we have is movies on the Statehouse grounds. They project movies onto the side of the state capital building, and people come with their lawn chairs, baby strollers, diaper bags, etc...from all directions, to a free and unsecured lawn. Easy soft target, with some media flash, given its at the capital.

The possibilities are endless really.

TSA has already brought their Kabuki Security Theater show trains, buses, and even the highway. Their goal is a total invasion of all privacy and the elimination of all rights. I saw an older, 1970’s science fiction movie that showed America as a dystopia with a police state terrorizing the masses. We are now there.
